On August 23, 2019, a press briefing on the development of intellectual infrastructure was held at the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by representatives of the Fund for Support of Digital Economy Development «Digital Trust», the «UZINFOCOM» United Integrator for the Creation and Support of State Information Systems, and media representatives.
Deputy Director of NAPM Maksudov Davron opened the event and present on the activities of the Agency. In particular, he indicated that one of the tasks of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 3, 2019 No. UP - 5609 is a comprehensive work on the transformation of the Jizzakh region into the «Advanced Region». In this regard, the Agency initiated the construction of a small intellectual-industrial and autonomous infrastructure in the villages (hereinafter referred to as the project), which will include solar collectors, greenhouses, fish farms, and water supply systems.
As part of the project, opportunities for the construction and operation of greenhouses and fisheries were highlighted. Technical and engineering solutions used in the construction of the project were presented by Dmitry Mikhaylov, Deputy Executive Director of the Digital Trust Fund. It is important to note that in the intellectual infrastructure, developments in the field of solar energy are applied and it is proposed to use solar collectors, the design of which is adapted to local conditions, also underway is work to localize the production of components. Recall that the project is being implemented within the framework of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 3, 2019 No. UP-5609 on the principle of “One village, one product” and can be successfully implemented in the future in all areas of the country.
In addition, the «UZINFOCOM» United Integrator for the Creation and Support of State Information Systems introduced the «Digital Economy» mobile application, which will allow farmers to remotely receive recommendations on the care of agricultural crops and soil.
